Rosemary Milner is an English surface pattern designer
and embroiderer, currently working in London.
Above all, Rosemary has a great consideration of craft and tradtional methods of printing and production, such as hand-etching, lino illustration and silk-screen print.
Designing for textile furnishings and interior papers, Rosemary's current collections are inspired by historical narratives and natural imagery. Researching woodland animals alongside British birds and plants, Rosemary's designs have a tradtional, rural and bespoke quality.
Rosemary's embroidery collections further supplement this; hand stitched motifs, stitched-into fabrics and embellished vintage found items are quintessentially Rosemary's style. The range also extends into mass-printable linens and furnishings for the home, evoking a subtle, composed feel
for interiors.
Rosemary has worked alongside and produced commissions for prominent local and international retailers and designers, which have recently included Anthropologie, Borderline Fabrics and John Lewis. Rosemary's embroidery work has also featured in numerous exhibitions and retailed worldwide.
